Daisy Day
Today is a dreary day, cold and with little hope for seeing daisies anytime soon. But, hope springs eternal, so I decided to make a daisy card. I found this gorgeous blue paper on a clearance rack with 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inch matching envelopes. I could not pass them up. So I wanted to make something that would really be great on the blue. I spotted some of my white glitter paper and my Quickutz daisy die cut and now the card is done. Not that it was quick or anything... I tried several different borders, but liked this fiskars one the best. I kept thinking of the "He loves me, he loves me not" but couldn't think of what type of card I would sent with that saying on it, so I thought the "I made a wish and you came true" would be more useable. I stamped words on the edge and just as I lifted the stamp it shifted. SO... as you will note if you look closely, I had to improvise. All stampers know a mistake is an opportunity for something even better. The inside now has a scalloped border too!!
